This week the New York Times has an article on 36 Hours in Florence. The article is okay — she includes some good things like Teatro del Sale, etc. As far as I can tell, these “36 Hours” pieces are supposed to cover what’s new in a city, for visitors that have been there before. She could have included:
- The Alinari Museum of Photography
- The beautiful Giardini Bardini, which is finally open to the public
- New restaurants such as Borgo San Jacopo and FiliPepe
- New gelato GROM
Also, does Fuori Porta have an aperitvo buffet? And a spritz is something you drink in Venice! Okay, that’s it for my grumbling.
